What my clients are saying about my work

Since my son has been attending tutoring with Kristie he has become much more confident regarding his reading and writing, and his literacy abilities have skyrocketed with the experience and enthusiasm that Kristie brings to the lessons each week. After only a few lessons there was such a big difference in his writing, and I couldn't believe it when he was independently practicing strategies that Kristie taught him when he was reading a book at home. Most importantly his attitude towards learning has improved so much, it is amazing to see your child enjoy reading and writing for the first time! The passion for helping children be successful is evident as Kristie will genuinely celebrate all of the little and big wins alongside you. We are so lucky to have found such a supportive tutor, and I would not hesitate to recommend Kristie to anyone that is looking for a tutor across a range of subjects, not only is she very knowledgeable, but she is also very approachable and kind, and it shows in every interaction she has with my son!

Parent - Year 3

My daughter has been attending Maths and English sessions with Kristie for over two years. Her support has made a significant difference, to not only Sophie's high school grades but also her confidence levels. Kristie is always organised and plans structured sessions in line with school curriculums to ensure lessons are structured and relevant to school assignments and exams. Kristie's kind and supportive approach to teaching has meant my daughter looks to her as a role model and attends lessons each week without complaint. I would recommend Kristie to anyone looking to support their child in achieving their goals in Maths and English.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Explore answers to common questions about our tutoring programs, learning approaches, and how we can best support your child’s growth. We’re here to help you feel confident in every decision.

We work with Year 1 - 10 students, primarily. Halfway through the year, we open the option for PP students to join. We can also assist higher than Year 10, for basic English and Maths (OLNA mainly).

Yes, we offer both. However, sessions are based solely on Literacy OR Numeracy, so if you are looking for both, you will need to attend 2 sessions or jump on our 1:1 waitlist.

They are grouped in 2 different ways, by year group and then ability. Your child may be grouped with differing year groups, based on their ability.

In our upper primary groups, we take an absolute maximum of 6. However, all our groups are aimed for 4 (and this is our maximum for the junior primary and high school groups).

In these sessions, we cover a range of Literacy and Numeracy tasks, as well as something social (think things like: art, craft, social games etc).

Yes, absolutely! That is why these were created. These provide everything you need for Literacy and Numeracy and the resources, for you to run at home with your child.

We will get in contact with you as soon as I can. Generally, within 48hours, unless it is a school holiday. We will advise if we currently have any openings for you and discuss jumping on a call to have a chat.

Small group sessions are $50 a session. Homeschool drop and go are $60.

1:1 is $80.

This can be accessed through me, however, your child needs to attend a public school to be eligible.

Yes, we do. We currently run this 1:1.

Just a water bottle, we provide everything else for them.
